How to Show Hidden Files on Windows
I have saved lots of photos, videos and
documents on my USB flash drive, but now when I open it, I can see nothing. However,
the system shows that only 2.72 GB free of 14.1 GB. I don’t know what happened.
Is there any way to show hidden files on USB drive? I have a Windows 10 laptop.
According to people over the internet, similar
problems have occurred on their USB flash drive, memory card, PC, and other
storage devices for many times. Some are just small tricks, some are mistaken
operations, and others may be system error.
How to Show Hidden Files on Windows
Step 1. Open Windows Explorer.
Step 2. Look the top Ribbon, which should
display as below by default.
Step 3. Click tab View.
Step 4. Tick Hidden items.
Step 5. Go to the folder with hidden files,
and now you should be able to view the hidden files/folders with grey icons.
How to Unhide Files on Windows
If you no longer want the files to be
hidden, you can unhide it after managed showing them as described in Part 1.
Step 1. Open the folder with hidden files.
Step 2. Click and select the hidden
file/folder, right-click, and choose Properties.
Step 3. On General tab, untick Hidden.
How to Restore Files Hidden by Virus
Step 2. Run the program, and then choose
Recover File.
Step 3. Select the partition with hidden files,
and then click Advance Scan.
Step 4. Tick the file types you need, and
then click Scan Now.
Step 6. Select the files and click Recover
button to retrieve.
Step 7. Select a location for the files to
be restored.
